Recap of last week: We noted last week that the market was overheated short term and will likely need some consolidation. We had downside consolidation in everything except mega cap tech names with AAPL,AMZN,GOOGL, META and TSLA all reaching fresh record highs. Therefore there was huge contraction in market breadth which isn't new because it's been the theme of this bull market for a few years now.
